Experience
Sam Kartalis became an executive on the Younger Partners land team in 2017 following the acquisition of his former company, Novus Realty Advisors, LLC. After nearly 45 years in the business, he came with a wealth of talent for new business, project development, training, communication, appraisal, brokerage, property management, syndication, and general management.
Sam’s career climb in commercial real estate began in 1974 at Henry S. Miller Co. where he rose from a team manager to a well-known partner and COO in the firm. Before leaving in 2014 to start Novus with other industry professionals, his name had already become synonymous with great leadership. Sam infused the full-service development, broker and investment firm with his strong work ethic, expertise, and attentiveness to client needs, making it an attractive fit for Younger Partners.
Prior to working in commercial real estate, Sam held management roles at GMC and then at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He left Westinghouse when he returned to Dallas after serving as General Manager, Elevator Division, South America in Caracas, Venezuela.
Sam graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Mathematics followed by a four-year tour of duty in the United States Navy as an Officer aboard a Destroyer. A frequent panelist and speaker, he is actively involved with many industry-leading organizations.
